Renee Thompson aka SeeMeNot begins 2021 with her breathtaking third single, ‘Joan Of Arc’, released on her Brainstream imprint.

SeeMeNot emerged in July 2020 with her debut mixtape, ‘Long Overdue: The Sound Of A Revolution’. The hotly-tipped Jamaican-Canadian artist and musician quickly found success with her two first singles, with early support from the likes of TSHA, Erol Alkan, Skream, Anja Schneider, Solomun, Gorgon City, Job Jobse, Pete Tong, Danny Howard and many more.

SeeMeNot brings both purpose and protest back to house music with each of her singles to date having explored race and gender, and on ‘Joan Of Arc’ she turns her attention to female empowerment. The track takes the listener on a journey blending the beautifully smooth and soulful vocals of Renee with deep and moving production that forms the perfect sonic foundations for her powerful and honest lyrics. Highly emotive chords progressions flow around a delicate percussive beat with drawn-out choral like vocals providing an entrancing backdrop to this exquisitely crafted track.
